This 45-minute film, Hotarubi no Mori e (2011), is based on the one-shot manga published in 2002 by Yuki Midorikawa. She is the mangaka of her most successful manga series, Natsume Yūjin-chō, which is still ongoing since 2003.

I particularly enjoyed this film for its message about relationships and time. The story was nicely paced to match the flow of time, and the artwork, especially the forest scenes, nicely done. Almost Ghibli-esque.
